Weekly Note for June 1-5
NOTES FOR PARENTS:
•I want to thank all of you for a wonderful year. God has truly blessed us with homes, families, and a great school. I personally have been blessed with great parent help, outstanding students who always did their best, and everyone trying to work together. God is working among us every day. •I will be sending home various crafts, books, school supplies, etc. throughout the week. If your child attends Kinder Plus make sure that you check for and take home all of their materials from the day Please send your child to school each day with an empty backpack. Thanks!
•Kindergarten Field Day: We will need help running the various events for the children. If you are able to volunteer from 8:15-9:45 am, Tuesday, June 2nd please let me know. This is a great opportunity for both classes to work together and enjoy a day of physical activity.
•Kindergarten Celebration: We will be celebrating the completion of Kindergarten in the church on Thursday, June 4th at 8:30 am. All families and friends are welcome to attend. We will have a brief cake and punch reception after. Children may go home after the celebration or stay for kinder plus.
•Hawaiian Days: June 5th is the last day of school and we will be celebrating with some fun activities. Your child may come to school in their favorite Hawaiian clothes, no bathing suits or sandals. We will spend the day playing games and doing crafts before our closing chapel for the school year.
•Closing chapel: Friday, June 5th at 11:00 am please join us as Dr. Sims closes out the school year.
•REMINDERS:
oJune 2nd – Kindergarten Field Day – 8:30-9:30 am
oJune 4th – Kindergarten Celebration at 8:30 am in the church
oJune 5th – Last day of school: Hawaiian Days in Kindergarten
Closing chapel at 11:00 am
